RAMAYAN CAN STEER HINDU SAMAAJ TOWARDS PROGRESS AND PROSPERITY

Remember, just like we behave differently with an infant, child, adolescent and mature young man, so is the case with Human Society. A slaving un-informed society, just as we have had before independence was a child, but a society which is growing, now has access to information, and education in masses is also increasing is to be treated differently.
The ratio of emotional content to physical content should also have been changed, post independence drastically, by increasing physical content. Hindu Samaaj has now matured, and cannot and should not be treated as child. But that has NOT happened, as Sanskrit Teachers and Gurus are interested in EXPLOITATION of Hindu Society.

We need to accept and understand more serious social issues in Ramayan, like ‘how AGNI PARIKSHA was declared as adharm’, why is Shri Ram called MARYADA PURUSHOTTAM, and how evolved humans in Ramayan, also known as Vaanars were accorded their due place in human society, by the efforts of Shri Ram and Mata Sita.

Some queries are being regularly received regarding the post RAMAYAN IS MORE THAN RAM RAVAN YUDH. Some of the objections are regarding our contention that we want to dilute the importance of Ram-Ravan Yudh?

Yes, according to us Ram-Ravan Yudh, after India became independent, should not have been given the importance that has been accorded to it.”Ram Ravan Yudh was important before independence as Saints would then invariably imply how Rakshas or invaders would be wiped out. But now our priorities should change.

Independent, Hindu Samaaj is mature, and should be told about serious social issues like how AGNI PARIKSHA was declared Adharm and how evolved humans, Vaanars, were accorded due place in human society

Ramayan clearly tells us that Ravan was not invincible. In fact it goes a step further and informs that Ravan would not meet his natural death but would be killed by a human and clarifies that Humans includes Vaanars.”

We have to understand one thing very clearly. The performance of Dharm for a child will always be different from a grown up adult. As said in our Hindi post, मैं और मेरी संतान..चुकी हर व्यक्ति इश्वर का अंश व प्रतिबिम्ब है , a child believes that his father can solve all his problems; he is just like GOD to him, but a grown up adult has more practical relation with his father and mother.

After independence, Hindu Samaaj has also matured, and can not and should not be treated as child.

In the first place, it looks strange that persons have to hide their identities, even when commenting on a religious post.

This totally takes away the credibility of the person making the comment....As such, although I do not agree to the content of the comment, I will leave it at that.

yes Draupadi was mother of a hundred sons, but the Pandavas aren't exactly from normal human lineage either. I don't think Mahabharata has much to do with science vs. naturalism, Mahabharata is about truth vs. untruth, virtue vs. debauchery. To suggest otherwise is to dilute Krishna's message.

Shawn,

I have no idea if Draupadi was mother of !00 sons; history tells us Gandhari was mother of 100 sons..

Once we accept that most of the characters were not normal, then the message of Shri Krishn need to be deciphered...

ABOUT ME:

A Consulting Engineer, operating from Mumbai, involved in financial and project consultancy; also involved in revival of sick establishments.

ABOUT MY BLOG: One has to accept that Hindus, though, highly religious, are not getting desired result as a society. Female feticide, lack of education for girls, dowry deaths, suicides among farmers, increase in court cases among relatives, corruption, mistrust and discontent, are all physical parameters to measure the effectiveness or success/failure of RELIGION, in a society. And all this, despite the fact, that spending on religion, by Hindus, has increased drastically after the advent of multiple TV channels. There is serious problem of attitude of every individual which need to be corrected. Revival of Hindu religion, perhaps, is the only way forward.

I am writing how problems, faced by Indian people can be sorted out by revival of Hindu Religion.
